review 1: Cuando leí la reseña de este libro, me entusiasmé demasiado. Quiero decir, ¿qué puede salir mal si tienes Universidad, una tutora genio pero extremadamente tímida, y un deportista encantador, pero probablemente con un bajo IQ y cero disposición al estudio? Probablemente es la receta para un buen libro YA, ligerito y entretenido.Pero, no. Algo no funcionó bien. La chica se arrastró demasiado, el tipo fue un bruto durante su buena parte del libro, ¡y el final! Después de que el tipo fuera un idiota y la dejara sola, se da cuenta de que ella es el amor de su vida, la única en darle paz y felicidad, y vuelve esperando que ella lo reciba de brazos abiertos (que es OBVIAMENTE lo que sucede; como dije, la chica fue demasiado arrastrada). Y después de eso, tenemos el ... moreepílogo, en que ellos son la pareja perfecta y se aman locamente y viven juntos... después de, ¿cuanto? ¿Un mes desde que el reaparece en su vida? ¿Qué es eso? ¿Dónde está el autorrespeto de la chica? No sé, yo lo habría hecho arrastrarse un poco más por ella.Lo único bueno fue que estaba gratis en amazon, y no tuve que pagar por este libro (sigo enojada).
review 2: Scarlett Goodwin has just been assigned to tutor Tucker Price in math. Tucker is the soccer star at Southern University but he is failing math. The introverted math junior was petrified of the attention that would come from being around the school superstar.Once Scarlett starts tutoring Tucker, she sees a different side of this womanizing party animal. In fact, his self-destructive habits are his way of hiding his pain and insecurities. As they spend time working through math problems, Scarlett and Tucker from a friendship and share the past. Finally, they both find someone who understands and shares their deepest fears. But can a relationship work between the "smart good girl" and the "bad boy jock".This story was really predictable but sweet. It was pretty much the run of mill NA book so nothing that moving for me. I may continue with the series as I liked her friend Caroline a lot. less
