review 1: This is the second book in this series and I liked the first one more than this one. Rose is still Rose and I like her character. But this one seemed a little more trite and not as funny as the first one. (Especially with all the references to her smelly dog and his bathroom habits -- enough already!) There is another mystery involved in this one of course and Rose finds her self in the middle of another murder investigation. And there's romance and it's a little steamier than the first one. Also, her relationship with Joe seems a little too serious for someone who has never had a relationship before. I'll probably return to this series as long as I can get them free on Amazon when I need a break from more serious reading.
review 2: I read this book throu
... moregh Kindle Unlimited. Let me just say, it is miles better than the first one. The story doesn't revolve so much around Rose complaining about her visions. It's a good, solid, funny story. The only reason I gave this 4 stars was that how she ended up on jury duty was completely unrealistic, and it really felt forced to me. Other than that it was a really funny story, with some good action thrown in, it reminded me a bit of the Stephanie Plum series. less
