review 1: Okay, I gotta say it. I got a Celeste and Matt (Flat Out Love) vibe from Reed and his sister. It could be how close and protective their relationship was or just their odd way of speaking sometimes. Anyway, about the main characters, I loved Caroline and Reed separately and together.I like how their relationship didn't start out or play out the typical way most YA romance do. It was a nice change.It was a good read from start to end. Enjoyed it.
review 2: I didn't know if this could top the first one, but I'd say it did! I loved the continuation of characters. When the author takes minor characters from a book and give them their own plot, it's one of my favorite things! You dive further into characters you're intrigued with, but still hear about the charact... moreers you love, and Caroline & Reed are no exception! Caroline was so fun in After Math that when I discovered this book was her story, I couldn't wait to read it! Then, they introduce Reed & Lexi, and I completely fell in love with those two. I felt the plot was just as strong, if not better, than the first book, and was completely enthralled in it all, that I finished it on my Sunday. Again, a perfect read to just escape for a bit! less
