review 1: This was my first time reading anything by this author and I really liked the book. I can't say I enjoyed reading it because there was a lot of hard things in the book, but it was very well written and the descriptions of grief we're very realistic. I fell in love with Maddy and think that everyone should have a Jeremiah in their life.and her mom's friends were truly loony! But they make me laugh.
review 2: This book will leave an imprint in your mind and in your heart in a multitude of ways (it has been over two years since I first read this book)! I have read all of Hildreth's books. My favorites have always been the Savannah series simply for its laid-back Southern charm. However, this book is now at the top of my favorites list.
