review 1: I liked this book very much. The artwork was nice, the story was well conveyed. I found some panels had hard to follow speech bubble patterns but that happens in many books. I thought the lack of sandwiches and Billy's Pan Pizza was sort of silly. They were very big parts of the book and I know it is not an important oversight to the plot but as a reader of the novel I thought it should have been included.
review 2: An accurate adaptation, but I can't help but feel that if you haven't read the books or seen the films that it may be confusing and difficult to follow (not to mention all the detail you're missing out on, having been left out understandably due to the confines of working within a page limit to deliver a precise retelling suitable for a comic book a... moredaptation). Having read the original work though, I did enjoy it, it was nice reliving the story in a different format. less
