review 1: Few books into the series and I am starting to debate continuing. I like the main character and the fantasy world the author builds, but seriously, enough with the banging (or wanting to bang) everyone! Hard to take Kara's feelings seriously when she is kissing the man she loves good bye and heading off to sleep with another.Some of the demon realm words become confusing too. It is hard enough keeping the bizarre names straight! This book had chapters that were solid 4's and others that struggled to maintain my attention. Maybe it is me, maybe not. Read and judge for yourself.
review 2: This book was pretty hard to get through. At many times, it seemed like a Traveler's Guide To The Demon Realm. Too much description. While it was good in some ways to learn mor... moree about the demons, I missed the topside mystery, and characters. By the end, I realized there was a lot of repetition, which drives me nuts. And if Kara says anything with the words "kick ass" again, I might quit the series. I might anyway. This book was a rather dull let down. less
