review 1: My favourite from the series.The heroine is an Immortal Guardian, the Hero? A Several Thousands Years Old Virgin 'Others' with the wings which the heroine said, soft like a baby hairs...:)Oh he is a very bad boy, worse than Sebastien and don't mind doing horrible things to get what he want!But to the love of his life? He is a totally softie:)I really love Zach and Lisette and really want more of these two.I understand the next book is about Ethan, but why? He is still so *young* compare with other Immortal Guardians, sigh.Aidan's story sounds more interesting, he is too several thousands years old, very lonely and want to find someone to share his life and he even dare to challenge Seth's wishes to get what he want, now that's exciting!Oh well..
review 2: Thre... moree and 1/2 stars! I like the series very much. Duvall is a great writer, the story is good and I love the characters. Why only 3 1/2 stars? Because it's pretty much the same as the previous book. They're leading up to something big, but the story is too much like the last one. They always hunt in the same places, the same things happen on these hunts, and the grand finally is usually at a military-like compound where they are trying to find out who's behind the attacks on Immortal Guardians. I would like to see something drastically different. This faction of Immortal Guardians live in NC. Why do they only hunt on college campuses? Also, the serum that renders an Immortal Guardian paralyzed, has been around since book two, it's time for a different threat.I do enjoy this series, I would just like to see something new in the next installment. less
