review 1: When I read the summary I was intrigued. I used to think falling for the boyfriend of someone you're close to was a taboo but I've been rethinking it this past year. You can't control your feelings or who they decide to get attached to. So I was reeled in by Love at First Click.Hayley is a character that I can definitely relate to. Especially when she'd rather be behind the camera rather than in front. Hayley had always thought Flynn was cute-it was a camera crush, nothing too serious. That is until she got to know him-after he started going out with her sister. She saw that Flynn was a cute, sweet guy who let his younger sisters paint his nails a glittery pink. As Hyaley began to know more about Flynn, the more she liked what she saw. But this was her sister's boyfriend. ... morePersonally, I would have been more enthusiastic about reading this if Hayley's sister wasn't such an unlikable character. She did have several good points but altogether she was too vain for my liking. She plays games with guys and is pretty conniving and likes to have everything her way. From that I knew there was no way a guy as sweet as Flynn was going to end up staying her boyfriend-not when someone as awesome as Hayley was her sister. Altogether this was a quick and cute book. But the ending was kind of abrupt.
review 2: I kind of really liked the idea and the story, but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. The overall story is fun and cute. The characters are interesting and the love is really adorable. The reason this book got 3 stars is because of that. But Te writing was very simple and sometimes a bit sloppy, the story felt a bit stiff and short. Mostly I thought this book needed a few more chapters, so there would be more development. We got told that the main character and her love interest hung out a couple of times, in one sentence, in stead of actually seeing it happen in scenes. This way we KNOW they got closer, but we didn't SEE of Feel it in any way. Yes I was rooting for them, but I wasn't invested. It seemed like the writer just wanted to finish telling us the story so she skipped some scenes that we needed. All in all it was enjoyable, but the author still has some growing to do. less
