review 1: Im going to say the same thing about every book in this series. Read them. They are short, but they automatically draw you in. Chandler is a phenomenal writer, from the first sentence you are stuck and can't put the book down. I hesitated to read this series, because it was labeled as a YA book but due to my admiration for Harry Potter, The Inheritance Cycle, and other books like it I decided to give this series a shot. So glad I did! The plots are great, with interesting little twists at the end. The characters are fleshed out enough to be lovable and believable even in the short span of pages. If you haven't done so already, READ THIS SERIES!
review 2: The book that i chose was the back door to midnight. The plot of this book is that Anna has to go visit her ... morepsychic aunt for the summer. When she arrives she find that her uncle is dead. She tries to figure out who killed him and why. In the process she falls in love with this boy named Zack. my favorite quote in the book was is "do you like to be petted, or do you just put up with it ?" I like this quote because Anna is talking to a goat, plus the guy that she thinks is cute is watching her. I really like this book because the author once again make me want to meet the main character/Anna. She brings me into the book. I would recommend this book to peole that like mystery and love in one interesting book. less
