review 1: With each book, my stars dropped a notch. The first book was absolutely top shelf and the characters are all ones you feel at home with and like. This is the 4th and it just didn't hit the mark.I hope Ms. Ryan takes some time before the 5th and reels us back in with her intelligent story telling. The introduction of a new member of the group in this book, added some spice, but it just wasn't of the quality one finds in the first 3.
review 2: If you enjoyed the other Genevieve Lenard books, you will like this one, too. Same quick pacing and great characters. The thing I really enjoy about this series (other than the mysteries, which are always fun) is the characters. This author is particularly gifted at describing not only autistic Dr. Leonard, but at character... more development from book to book. Like any work of fiction, you have to suspend your disbelief (like the team solving a 1990 heist from a Boston museum) but this series' characters are believable and the dynamics between them are great.
