review 1: Book 2 started off 5 years after the end of book 1. This book was so much more gripping than book 1. It had so many ups and downs right from the beginning. I couldn't put it down. Cody's brother Scott (also a navy seal) is captured while in Iraq. The whole family bans together and are horrified to see him as a captive on TV. He finally gets free after a long time and when he gets home he is... different. Nobody knows what to do. The family has to figure out a way to help Scott whether he wants it or not. At the same time a lot of secrets come out about different people in the family. This story is mostly involving Cody's family while the first story was a lot about Bridies family. There were so many twists in this story. Every time that I thought I knew what was going to h... moreappen next, something else happens. I love that in a book. Book 2 is just as good as book 1, if not better. Eve did a great job with both stories!
review 2: Wow , I love Eve's books!! Just the right amount of action , drama , love etc .. You cant put the book down once you began , she keeps the worldwind of emotions twirling around to keep you pulled into the book ~ wanting to know what is going to happen next.. I cant really say much about what happens with Bridie, Scott and Cody because I don't want to spill the beans on what happens for others that want to read it , just know you wont be disappointed ~ Its a must read!!! less
