review 1: Still loving these.In this book, Sophronia continues her espionage education and the bigger plot begins to unfold. The vampires and picklemen (businessmen toffs) are fighting for control to a new technology. Sophronia and her small group of close friends find themselves embroiled in the situation when two of them are kidnapped by the Westminster vampires. They must use all their skills to free them from the hive.
review 2: To be absolutely honest after I finished the first book in this trilogy I wasn't sure that I was going to read this book. So, I shouldn't have been jealous when my sister started reading it before me; but, I was and as a result I began reading it as soon as she finished it. I was very impressed by "Curtsies & Conspiracies" I thought the ent... moreire novel was even more interesting than the first one (which is odd because with most trilogies I find that the first novel is better than the second one). So, if you are looking for a book to read this Christmas I recommend this one! less
