review 1: I really liked these books. Entertaining but a little predictable. Overall I'm glad I bought the 1-5 and did enjoy them all.A couple times though I got tired of her lying and it did start to bother me. These are good for the times you want to escape your own world and read some lighthearted mystery, comedy and a little romance thrown in. They are written for fun, keep them at that and you will enjoy them!
review 2: I whipped through these books in pretty much one sitting. Without going in to the details on each book, I'll just say that shoe designer Maddie Springer and her family and friends are great characters and her romance with homicide detective, Jack Ramirez is HOT. Maddie seems to attract dead bodies and, despite Ramirez's pleas and threats to stay awa... morey, manages to find the killer. Mayhem and hijinks abound. less
