review 1: This is a novella (in between book) and it was cute....of course Maddie stumbles (literally) across another dead body and ends up helping solve the crime. Even though this is short, the story flows well and it is Maddie, Dana and Marco's normal situations that they find themselves involved with!I never would have guessed the killer, Gemma does a great job of leaving some clues but not enough that you might guess whodoneit.
review 2: I enjoyed the book, but did not realize how short the story was considering I read it on my NOOK (It came with a 40 page preview of another book too). I thought it flowed nicely and was always moving forward to the next idea. It seemed to lack a bit of conflict as well; meaning everything seemed to go as planned. And again, it did... more just seem to end for me.Overall an easy and quick read. Good read for short trips. less
