review 1: You know... this is always terrible. The writing is getting better as the series goes along. I'm not sure it's yet good enough that I want to pay for the next set of books or not though... I've read the five main novels and all the novellas in between 1 and 5. There are at least five or more full length novels left. I'll have to sit and try to figure out if I want to continue with the series after I read some other books and see if it still sticking with me.Love Lysander and Bianca... although the format was very similar to the others and I'm not really a fan of "lets kidnap the girl until they fall in love with me" plot device I try to distance myself from the feminist inside of me and just read them.I don't know... I'm going to have to contemplate more on this seri... morees...
review 2: Lysander, a stoic and cold angel, finds himself captivated by Bianka, a boisterous Harpy who steals and fights. If you look past the very strange setup (why is Lysander determined to make Bianka "good"?), this is a very cute story. Bianka is hell on wheels, in a very good way. She reacts to situations in a very fun way and has no problems determining how to make those situations work for her. The way their relationship develops is amusing, and although Lysander is nominally in control, Bianka is really the one running the show. less
