review 1: I thought I would be really into this story, due to the combination of fantasy and reality. However, after the kids got on the plane...confusion! I'm not really sure that I get it. The ending helped a bit, (hence the 3 stars) but I would have loved to have heard more about the meaning of what the kids thought they saw...or maybe it is good to leave this to the reader's imagination? Like it said...confusion!
review 2: No Passengers Beyond This PointGennifer Choldenko India, Finn, and Mouse were going to their uncle in Colorado in a plane. The plane landed in a strange place that was not even identified on the map. When they reached they were sent to a huge mansion and each of the siblings suddenly got a watch that was counting down and when the time ran
... moreout they are permanent residences of the place and cant leave it. They are struck with a lot of problems to solve like they cant use their phones or any other phones to call their mom.The only chance for them to get back was to get hold of the driver that left them at the mansion in the beginning of the book so they can go back from the plane. One of my favorite moments was when Mouse was talking about bing his imaginary friend how he will get threw the security without a passport. The author writes"How will bing get threw the security India he doesn't have a passport"(29). Another thing I like about the story was that there was so much suspense involved like were are they and what they will do there and how they will get back. As soon as they reach they don't realize they are out of the world but they have a gut feeling that something is wrong because Finn says this doesn't seem like anybody lives here guys. Also there are funny parts like when Mouse says to India the proof that bing exists is a paper that says bing on it! I would believe that other people who are interested in fantasy or fiction should read this book. I would recommend it to any boy above the age of 10 or below 18 because it is a fun book too read but for some older people this might become a little boring. I also would reccomend this to anybody into realistic fiction because there is so much fantasy and fiction involved in this book. Anybody who has read the maze runner will like this book because in this book they are stuck in this unknown world and trying to get out just like the people stuck in a maze and trying to find the exit. less
