review 1: This author and series is a favourite of my 8 year old grandson , and so when coming across this book at a sale table I decided to buy it and find out for myself what the attraction was. I became interested in the developing mystery and loved meeting the delightful and fascinating characters. I was also impressed with the information that a young reader may learn, for example on p. 58 , I learned that bananas are a source of potassium. When arriving home I was eager to learn the source of the ghost in the hotel. " aLL is well that ends well", which I was reaffirmed of at the conclusion of this rat( or mouse tail).

Illustrations by Valeria TuratiGraphics by Michela Battaglin This is a wonderful story for you... moreng readers; it’s a mystery, a comedy, and the artwork is done in a way that readers of all ages can enjoy. This is focused on a second or third grade reading level, and is put together in such a way that the text and illustrations make reading fun. How can you not want to read about a mouse solving a ghost mystery, and a mouse that travels around in a stretch limo that has a closet, a B shaped bed, hot tub, and is completely made of gold. I also was very impressed with the layout of the text and illustrations on each and every page! less
