She has to get out of her London home as it's been sold, so Devon seems like the perfect answer. She packs up her three young sons and sets out The book covers her first year in the house, all the problems she faces with her family (her father and brother want her to sell it to them (no way) and her ex husband wants a cut of it (noway too) and all the triumphs, as along with the faithful staff she does major remodeling and slowly makes a success of the business.A wuick ad very delightful read.

... morede if it was bad copyediting or just a weird British quirk, but I found myself wanting to buy a jar full of commas, and sprinkle them liberally throughout the book. I was really glad that the book didn't devolve into a romance, but stuck with the broader story of Molly getting on with her life. less
