review 1: I liked the first book in this series, but it's this second book that has me adoring the series. But what I really appreciate about this book, more than the mystery, is the depth of characterization. Both the protagonist Father Tudor and love interest Awena have true emotional intelligence, which is so refreshing. This book is much better written than your average cozy.

A solid follow-up to the charming first mystery in this series. Many nods to Agatha Christie.

Good book although it did go on in parts. Less of Max's back story was a good thing

This is the second in the series. Not as good as the first book but not bad.
