review 1: Louisa is a bluestocking who is tired of the marriage mart. Sir Joseph is a widower who is looking for a mother to his children. After Louisa is caught in a compromising position, Joseph offers his hand as a solution to the scandal. Of course, their marriage of convenience turns out to be a love match for the ages. This book is everything a Christmas romance should be: perfect parts of Naughty and Nice and well-intention-ed lying. It was delightful and I couldn't devour it fast enough.
review 2: I loved this the best of the Dukes Daughters thus far. It included the entire Windham family. There was some angst but it was clear that everything would work out in the end. Not one hint in the previous siblings books that Louisa was a genius. Carrington was the
... more perfect man for her. I liked that the marriage occurred in the middle of the book, however was disappointed there was no description of it. There was also no introductions of the 12 orphans. The ending seemed rushed. less
