review 1: I am a fan of the films and was looking for supplementary material that would flesh out the universe. The book gives a good back story for Koba and provides insight into some of his motivations in the second film. It also introduces several human characters, some more interesting than others, as they deal with the simian flu pandemic and collapse of society. I wanted more information on the apes themselves and less about some of the human characters, but overall this was a fun little book. It also had a bunch of typos. Nice.

I liked it because it is Planet of the Apes. Sadley I wish there were more books about this.
