review 1: Four stars, because the political intrigue in this volume actually made sense and was interesting! And because we're starting to see some dissension in the ranks of the Survey Corps... my favorite scene in this volume was Hange with the table/cockroach.But really, I want to give this more like 2.5 stars. Yes, I'm still hooked and can't wait to find out what happens next (especially after that ending). But I'd really love to see some actual movement in the main plot of the story. What are the titans? What happened to Eren's father? Where are Ymir, Bertolt, and Reiner, and what is going on in their village? And most importantly... what the hell is in Eren's freaking basement?! All of these are questions that I am much more interested in than Krista's family tree, although th... moreat little plot reveal was a nice tidbit of info. It just didn't push the story in a direction I have very much interest in pursuing.
review 2: My bRAiN CAnNoT FUnCtION. NoOOONoOOnO. I'm going to die before the next chapter in the 15th volume comes out. It sucks that this "actual" volume doesn't get released for a bit, and that's just the Japanese print! We have to wait a whole lot longer for the English print, unless you read it online when it comes out like I did. There are like 50 million different problems and puzzle like mysteries going on, and I literally can't function right now because of all MY FEELS!!!! Nobody will probably read this review, but if you do I'd like some suggestions for other manga! It's taking over my life... less
