review 1: This was actually the first volume that moved the story along in any significant fashion in a bit and, as such, it was a refreshing change. The mysteries of the titans and the wallist church are interesting and as the story develops, I can't help but notice how well this text works as a political allegory. Conservative wallist priests, liberal survey corps and the mysterious anarchist group that Reiner and Bertoldt belong to... This comic is interesting on so many levels.
review 2: THIS WAS SO INTENSE. Yet again, different relationships were developed. Ymir and Christa, and how they fight for eachother, rather for themselves. Bert and Reiner, and how they'd die trying to protect eacother: the perfect warriors. Eren and Mikasa, showing the bond between them can
... morenever be broken, even though Eren is a little sh*t most of the time. Even Jean and Armin, with their little moment at the end where Armin was protecting him from the titans. PERFECTION.I just need more Hanji and Levi. I miss them. Just gotta wait for Volume 13 now. less
