review 1: The first book in this series was a quick, entertaining read but I just didn't find this second instalment enjoyable. There isn't much action and I grew tired of reading about chuckles and how "beautiful" Knight was after the first few chapters. The story does pick up towards the end but it was too late for me, I was no longer interested in what would happen. I probably won't read the rest of the series.
review 2: Audiobook review.Again, Therese Plummer does a great job narrating. I like the quirky characters, the sex is more demure in this book than the first, the heat is there, the toying and playfulness is too, just in less detail. I think that's a good thing. Dulcie once again is tormented by and gaga for Knight, but refuses to give into it. The evil in thi
... mores story is in the form of the Dream Stalker, who is out for revenge on Dulcie by kidnapping people from her life and imprisoning them in their dreams, killing a couple of them. Sam, her best friend becomes a victim and Dulcie goes to the extreme to try and rescue her. Lots of playful moments between Knight and Dulcie, as well as with Bram and Dulcie. Also, Quillan appears again. Friendship, trust, love, terror, revenge, man troubles, nightmares, addiction and much humor. less

Dulcie O’Neil is back again with her cranky demeanor and closely guarded heart. Her many suitors are growing impatient as the golden haired fairy continues to unknowingly steal their hearts with her nonstop sass-trap - all the while cranking up their libidos (;D) Bram, Quillan, and Knight have their hands full in this story as Dulcie goes against her own ethics and does something illegal (and really stupid), all in the name of saving a friend (“U go girl!“). My jaw hit the floor when Knight tries to intervene and Dulcie uses her womanly wiles to get her way…!!! As per usual, I’m off to read the next book, so happy reading to you (=D)

One of the biggest reasons I really enjoy this series is that the books are fun, and A Tale of Goblins is definitely enjoyable. The mystery aspect is intriguing, and I like the spectrum of supernatural characters who people this world. C'mon, who wouldn't like a fairy who has issues with her looks based on pointed ears? What I especially like is the growing relationship between Dulcie and Knight because when the romance finally really sinks in, it's going to be a lot of fun watching the fireworks.
