review 1: You don't have to read all the books in the Jack Daniels series to read this "finale" but you will want too!!! Kindle edition has hyperlinks that tell you about people from other books in the story to give you background. This was a great series and since it didn't totally close the chapter on all characters I think they will be \making a comeback sometime soon!!! And Lucy is a trip I LOVE her a kid serial killer...... no spoilers just read this book
review 2: I have loved the Jack Daniels series and looked forward to this one as well. It started out a little confusing because it kept jumping around in time and back and forth between characters. Once I got the hang of what the authors were doing it was better, but it took a little while. I didn't really care f
... moreor all of the gross parts (I don't remember that many in the previous books). Maybe it was just my current mood or there were more than usual. I didn't think the warehouse/abandoned town scene was ever going to end. I did enjoy the twists in the book and the laugh out loud moments. The last 25% of the book made me want to keep reading to find out how they tied it all up. Overall, an enjoyable book but would have been better with less gore. less

Not nearly as good as the first 4 or 5. To much serial killer creepiness.
