review 1: Luthi 1Mia LuthiMrs. HousleyEnglish 9, 07November 2, 2014 In The Maze Runner, a future-fiction style book, the main character Thomas gets entered into a new society surrounded by an enormous maze. This book is very fast moving, action packed, thrilling and intriguing. I would definitely say that there is both violence and mystery involved in the complicated plot of The Maze Runner. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes books like Twilight, Hunger Games, Divergent, and Harry Potter. My favorite part of this book was when a war broke out between the Glades and the W.I.C.K.E.D. 's monsters called Grievers. Although I don't want to give away what what happens, you can count on the fact that pain and death are in the mix. Will the Glade be destroyed? Can... more Thomas get out of there fast enough? Hopefully this'll be helpful in your choice to read a book! The Maze Runner in my opinion was five out of five stars. This is because it was a page-turning, exciting book. It made me anxious to continue reading and disappointed when the book was over!
review 2: Thomas is the newest arrival to the Glade in this Truman-meets-Lord of the Flies tale. A motley crew of half a dozen kids is all he has to guide him in this strange world. As soon as he arrives, unusual things begin to happen, and the others grow suspicious of him. Though the Maze seems somehow familiar to Thomas, he's unable to make sense of the place, despite his extraordinary abilities as a Runner. What is this place, and \ does Thomas hold the key to finding a way out? This sounds pretty good right. Pick up a book and read it you lazy people. less
