The 13th Reality
review 1: The 13th Reality The Void of Mist and Thunder.Written by James Dashner in 1972 and has 404 pages. The intended audience of this book is those who like fantasy and young adult action. The main issue in this book is Mr. Chu, Mistress Jane, and Tick are stuck in the Nonex. Once they are able to escape reality starts to rip at the seams. The setting gives a sort of feeling, it gives it the tone of the story. Plus, since James Dashner is son descriptive he is able to create lots of many interesting places, such as the Nonex. Tick- protagonist, he helps to save the realities from destruction he is thrown into the Nonex. Mistress Jane- antagonist, tries to create a Utopia so that she will have control over Reality. Lisa and Lorena are using a barrier want to try and focus on Tick... more's nanolocator. Meanwhile, Tick is stuck in the Nonex, a weird place where creatures form and disappear in a matter of seconds. He is stuck here with Mistress Jane and Mr. Chu. They are able to escape the Nonex and land in the 13th Reality. Their escape causes a large explosion and the void of mist and thunder begins to destroy the realities. To stop the destruction Mistress Jane and Tick went to the center of the void, pooled their Chi'karda and released it on the void. This event did not kill Tick but it changed his form. Tick, now not human sits down to the meeting of the Realitants. What I like about the book was how the plot is played out and all the fantasy of the book. More than the infinite power of Chi'karda and Karma combined could not express how much I love you.-pg. 401To say the world was in crisis was the understatement of the year.-pg. 24. A theme I found in this book is that Those who have great power also have great responsibility. I recommend this book to those that like science fiction because it is centered all around it. Its a great book and a thrill of an adventure. The science and made up aspects of the book is what sets it apart from others. Such as how Tick has power over Chi'karda and can wink, transport, himself from one place to another.
review 2: and dashner did it again. I can't believe this. 3.5stars actually but I gave it 3 instead 4 because as usual. the ending is just soooo makes me irritating. in a good way of course.that's all I can say. lol---masih dengan gaya berceritanya yang rapi dan teratur. peralihan adegan disaat yang tepat di waktu yang terjadi bersamaan sehingga selalu membuat penasaran untuk melanjutkan ke halaman berikutnya.akan tetapi porsi narasi yang ditulis terlalu banyak hingga membuatku merasa seperti membaca buku diktat daripada membaca sebuah novel.hahahaha.... less
