review 1: I was going to give this 5 stars until i read the last book. After what they've been through how could there's no cure at all? instead they who are immune become one and live in one place? that's just ridiculous. And i dont like the idea of Newt died. Though I don't like Teresa but it's funny how she just die like that. The ending doesn't give me the pleasure like it has to be. And I dont like Thomas's character. He's like the worst character in this entire book. I give first and second book 5 stars though. Both are really good.
review 2: I would have stopped reading this trilogy half way through if it is not to find out what will happen about the "cure". Writing is really poor and dry. The whole set of books read like film script with no depth to any of the c... moreharacter development. The story plot is just weird as well. Especially towards the end, all the trials and investment to build the maze and scorch trial are for nothing when the solution has been so obvious. less
