review 1: I got really tired of James Patterson's books, so this is my first in a while, but I must admit I did enjoy it. The ending was unfair, and while I don't mind seeking the sequel, it's just wrong to do this to your readers! But a fun read, nonetheless. Hard to believe an antagonist could be that evil or have that much control, but it makes a good story. Lots of salient points in this book, such as the end results of "fatherlessness" and of families without roots and values.
review 2: I just didn't know that this is a two books installment! I was upset by the ending because this book keep us on the edge almost right from the beginning so when I start to hear the conclusion part on the audiobook I was like what?? I am already a fan of James Patterson with Alex
... moreCross but now I am double fan because I really like the way the author this family oriented police detective so close to always made a bad decision with his love life but the truth gentlemen inside him save the nice picture we have of him! The plot is quite interesting and now I am searching for renting the next one Gone! Thanks to the author for sharing less

Annoyed that I'm going to have to get the next book in the series to get the end of the story.

I hate finishing a book in a series when the next one isn't out yet! What happens next?
