review 1: I absolutely love this series. I read it out of order but I was still able to follow along. For me I personally liked the role reversal between Cass and Tom. Tom may be the stronger of the two because he is a shifter but it is the human Cass that is the alpha in the relationship. This series is great. It's not real long books so you can read them in one sitting if you so choose. These stories may be short but do not lack in the entertainment department. There’s good conflict, a growing love story, and a cliffhanger surrounding the mysterious wolf trying to take Tom.I not only recommend this book but the whole series.
review 2: An okay read. Pacing was choppy, but I really liked Cass and Tom. I docked a star because of the stupid ending. To introduce a boy who... more has been beaten, raped and tortured and he just "faded away"...I wasn't even sure what that meant--like, sneaked off into the bushes faded(then couldn't their wolf noses track him?) or he literally blinked out of existence faded, which makes even less sense. And everyone is just okay with that? "I guess it's over." SERIOUSLY? I'm expected to turn the page and care about vacation and tofu? A very annoying end IMO. less
