review 1: I think the story had a lot of potential but there were so many holes in the story. For example you would think that Danial and Lisanne are the same age but further in the book it will mention that Danial can drink beer in a restaurant without showing ID which will make him at least 21. It seems that because of Danial rage over the smallest things Lisanne is repeatedly apologizing to him. I just couldn't finish the book.
review 2: Why am I only just finding out about this author?! I loved this book. Great heart wrenching young love story about Daniel, a boy with a big secret and Lisanne, the girl who figures it out and falls in love with him anyway. He's temperamental, she's patient. He's stubborn, she's persistent. Together they figure it out, but not without ... moresome bumps in the road. This book had a very real feel to it, and the author seems to have done her homework with regard to the technical aspect of the story. Great job, and an excellent read. Highly recommended. less
