review 1: Jason Aaron did it again... Like his masterpiece 'Scalped', this book is a punch in the gut that leaves you aching, breathless, astonished...yet wanting more, more of this hauntingly beautiful stuff about some ugly sons of redneck bitches and one man who dares to give a shit and, against all odds, stand up for what he believes in. Jason Latour's artwork is the icing on the cake, perfectly matching the dark story in this sunny, yet fucked up, place called Craw County. Highly recommended !
review 2: Really good. The art is beautiful and the storyline is really interesting thus far. I can't wait to see how they develop the backstory to how & why Craw County became terrorized by Coach Boss. I'm also interested in Earl's relationship with his father and how this h... moreas affected him. The last few pages revealed something about Earl that I think is going to be very exciting to see explored. Patiently waiting for volume 2. less
