review 1: This book was problematic for me. Coming in the middle of a trilogy I don't expect a lot of questions to be answered. But I do expect some to be answered. Instead, the story flips around and becomes about things it wasn't about before. While the writing is fine the characters behave in ways that seem at odds with their previous actions. I will read the third one but I hope there are some answers there and a bit of consistency with the characters.
review 2: This is the 2nd in the series and it was slow from time to time. The overall premise is good, and I'm glad I learned more about Skyler, but I was disappointed in the way he and Tania gave up on each other. Until the very end, I had very little hope for what's to come. And I'm dying to know what purpose t... morehe Builders are trying to accomplish. It's become obscured by other things and I'm hoping the 3rd book ties it all together. This is a good book, but my fingers are crossed that the next one will be excellent! less
