review 1: The ending to this trilogy was one huge letdown. The series wasn't earth-shattering, but it was entertaining enough. Unfortunately, answer to the big "why" was hugely disappointing, and would have been better off left unexplained.Also, this third book could have easily been pared down to about 200 pages, but this is what happens when authors and publishers insist on everything being a trilogy.Bummer.
review 2: Ah, the end of a trilogy, with spoilers ahead. The good news is that things happen, mysteries are resolved, the heroes win, and all sorts of good things happen. Ending was a bit of a let down and cop out, I thought, but thoroughly enjoyed the book and series.
