review 1: What I wouldn't give to have another day with my dad.....This series from Jason Mott fills your head with the possibility of miracles. Possibly angels too.What I like most is it raises questions within me about what I would do if granted another moment with my dad. To even raise those questions in me and have me believing in the miracle of life takes quality writing. That is definitely the case here.Each story leads us to the book, The Returned. Each story raises emotions and questions within you. Each story is as powerful as the last.This one in particular, I felt showcased the love between parents and children. It really hit home with me.4.5/5
review 2: Questo, dei tre prequel di The Returned, è forse questo che mi era meno vicino emotivamente, non fosse alt... morero per la situazione narrata. Heaher e Matt hanno due reazioni decisamente agli antipodi al fenomeno dei Redivivi, come certamente tanti altri nel mondo: lei non può evitare di rapportarsi con la bambina trattandola appunto come una qualsiasi altra bambina che ha smarrito i genitori, quindi come una persona vera; lui vede nei Redivivi, soltanto delle cose sbagliate e contro natura e non riesce a pensare a loro come esseri umani dotati di sentimenti ed emozioni vere. La storia della piccola Tatiana è triste e toccante; lei è morta a causa di eventi che nessuno poteva controllare ed è troppo giovane anche solo per comprenderli; l’unica cosa che sa è che gli mancano i genitori.E voi come reagireste? Io come reagirei? Ricordatevi che non parliamo di zombie, ma di Redivivi che parlano e agiscono proprio come prima di morire... C'è molto su cui riflettere! less
