In Death
review 1: Eve never backs down from a fight not even Hollywood's A listers. This book was fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat . I enjoyed how she brought the criminal down. The only downside and hence a deduction of one star was the confusing names. Sometimes the characters would use the last name anx then the first name and with so many suspects it was downright confusing! One of the few mystery series that I love and have followed for many years!
review 2: This is the 34th in the series and while many of them are the same, and many of the details are the same (Eve’s hair, her fear of Trina and Bella, Mira’s tea and pearls, Sommerset (tho there was one moment there that I enjoyed, where they respected each other!), Nadine’s heels, etc.) I still come back
... more to read them every time I can’t settle on anything else. Celebrity in Death was one of the better ones, to me, I enjoyed the two Peabodys aspect more than I thought I would. I like that we know who done it about 2/3 through each of these, and then get to see Eve plot to catch them, rather than figuring it all out at the very end. The next one in the series looks to be breaking the pattern a bit, and I’m looking forward to it. less
