review 1: This was the first time I have read Jeffery Deaver and am now adding him to my go to thriller authors! It took me a day or two to get going with the book, since I had never read the series before and had to catch up. But once I got going it was an edge of your seat read. Locale is set in NYC, and the theme of the book was electricity! Not something you would think would make for a great thriller back drop but it was! Excellent character descriptions too.

Diciamo subito che la struttura ricalca in modo imbarazzante quella del "Collezionista di ossa". Stessa vocazione di Sachs per i sotterranei oscuri e invasi dall’acqua, s... moretesso assalto a Rhime che si trova provvidenzialmente da solo quando l’assassino intende fagli una visitina. E infine una raffinata chiave solutoria: “ebbene sì, maledetto Rhime, sono l’orologiaio travestito da generatore diesel". Leggere per credere.Nel merito del contenuto informativo dato dall’ambience del romanzo ci troviamo nel paradiso dell’elettricista, tra Brico e Castorama dove di elettricità si continua a non capire “un cavo” ma alcuni termini vengono ripetuti ossessivamente: arco voltaico, metallo, acqua, isolate, cattivo conduttore, corrente alternata, corrente continua, ampere… less
