review 1: Another wonderful Mackenzie tale and I loved it!! I adored Daniel as he grew into manhood in the earlier books in the series, but his story made him even more amazing. A severe trauma in Violet's early life made her wary and untrusting of people. She and her mother travelled around telling fortunes for those willing to pay.
