review 1: This book had so much potential but it was overall like drinking a flat soda. The taste was there but there was just no carbonation. The characters were not described very well. No personality, no back story, I don't even know what they look like. The concept was nice but seriously was a waste because of all the missing elements. It wasn't at all very cohesive. About 4 sentences were missing a word and some sentences were not structured very well. I don't want to bash too much considering it was a debut novel but there were just so many ways this book could of gone that it just didn't. I was overall annoyed because I couldn't connect at all, kind of like when you're ignoring someone and they're just talking at you. I'm disappointed because I was excited to read it BEFORE a... morend now I'm relieved about the AFTER of being done. Sorry Jennifer Castle. :/
