review 1: With a title like Toccata Obbligato you know this has to be an interesting read. And it is! A wonderful short story of young love told from the point of view of Todd, a rocker who's full of himself. He fancies himself quite a 'player' when it comes to women. All that's about to change when he meets Kyra. She just might be the love of his life, and they might have a chance at something real--if he can figure out how to follow his heart and change his ways. Can they work it out? How? You'll have to read this quick, well-written story for yourself to find out! A Recommended read.
review 2: Good, sexy, touching novella. Todd is a burgeoning rock star, who has lost those close to him and has a surrogate mother in Olivia. He has fallen for Kyra, and his challenge is... more to believe that he's worth loving and that he isn't going to lose everyone he loves. And then there is the sexy Skype scene.This is Todd's POV novella. I didn't know of the other books in the series, Out of the Box Regifted, so this was an interesting read for me. I would have liked it too have been a bit longer and not solve the situation so quickly. I'd like to have had more time to get to know Todd and Kyra. less
