MY REVIEW:
*round of applause for another amazing book*
I really couldn’t wait to read Nova! I fell in love with the first book and for a moment I feared I was going to be disappointed because the first one was just so good but I was wrong because although the first one is still my favourite, Nova was an amazing story.
I really couldn’t put the book down and had to know if Nova and Rachel were going to make it.
The story is more complicated than the first one, we are dealing with the past, broken hearts and resentment, and we learn that forgiveness is not easy but sometimes there is no other opinion than risk and maybe be broken hearted for the right person at the right moment.
Landon, known as Casanova, is the handsome, reckless heartbreaker among our group of Renegades, his heart has always belonged to one girl but circumstances get in the way of their happiness. He is loyal and stubborn but his heart is in the right place and he knows what he wants and fights for it.
Rachel is our heroine, she is stubborn, strong willed and a bit reckless. Her story is complicated and although she already suffered in the past she is strong enough to put her heart out there again.
Sometimes she was a bit too stubborn and this got in the way of her happiness but I can understand the need to protect yourself from the people who should have cared about you instead of making you suffer.
The story was really nice, it was well written, as usual, and the characters had good chemistry. I have to admit that Wilder (the first book) will always have that special place in my shelf but nevertheless Nova was really good.
The story was less about the stunts and their recklessness (although we had quite a few) and more about the relationships between the characters. The landscapes were breathtaking as always and there were many unexpected twists and turns.
Just another amazing story that will keep me waiting on edge for the next book.
