The Children of the Red King
review 1: This was a pretty satisfying conclusion to and interesting, if not especially memorable, series. There were a few editorial and continuity issues with this book: Was Eustacia in top form or not in top form that day? And does it even really matter? And the narrator's voice (I nearly typed "natterer's voice" by accident) was far too obtrusive, and felt like it was added to beef this book up to the same size as the others. But the Red Knight bit was just great. Actual rating: 3.5 stars, but I round up.
review 2: Charlie Bone is on his last adventure. He is on a hunt to find a will the entitles Billy Raven to Bloors Academy and the riches that they have. The Bloors don't want Charlie to find it because then they will be kicked out and lose their wealth. He ru
... morens across a red knight that helps protect the endowned children when they are in trouble. Pros:-The ending of the story was great way for the book to end and how their won't be any more problems-The story got really good as soon as it started with all the problems that the characters had to deal withCons:-Felt like the beginning started off random with it not starting with the main character -some parts had weird transitions from one scene to the next less

I seriously loved this series. I am so grateful that I came to it when it was completed as I think it would have made me nuts to wait. I highly recommend this series to any who loved Harry Potter and The Grey King series, as well as all Anglophiles. Thanks so much to Julianne for again offering me something that I love. I especially appreciated that while the kids were the highlighted heroes, there were plenty of adults who were fighting alongside them. That is often missing in youth fantasy these days.

Oh, it ties together all of the loose ends and is just wonderful. Well worth the read.
