review 1: Definitely not as good as I remembered it. The story is still good, but a bit forced at times, there was a little too muh going on at every time and there is not as much getting to know every character, even the MC, as getting them and her escribed to me. The time where we should get to know them is laid on the action sometimes. And that's the loss in the book for me. I do still like the world, but it's a bit thin for me.
review 2: Great books/series. This book takes place a few months after book #1 where the radio station is seeming to find it's groove (pun intended). But a evil Masonic-ish religious group has other ideas so the group tries to figure out how to stop them. Ciara and Shane's relationship is moving forward but with all the vampires having some... more type of OCD, she has to overlook a lot of lecturing notes. I love her vampire dog Dexter, which nowadays is a scary name for a dog but maybe not when this was written. less
