review 1: As I flip thru peoples comments please realize that this is a NOVEL not a direct account of Marilyn's death. I know I'm not the end all critic on books but this had me engulfed within 15 pages. The train of thought throughout the book is that of Ben talking to the doctor who is interviewing his days after her death. Many have mentioned it was "confusing," I assure you it is not if you get out of the normal third person view of typical writing. I loved this novel. I can't wait until the next title from this author comes out
review 2: This is of the historical fiction genre. It is about Marilyn Monroe. Although there are parts of the book that are a little confusing, I loved this book. Knowing that it is historical fiction some of the "facts" had to be true and... more I found those to be very interesting (I am not saying what but it was attributed to Frank Sinatra at Cal-Neva Ranch). It made me realize how sad of a life she had. It is a really quick read. less
