review 1: Ms Madden sure can write characters. Her characters are very well developed, their interactions feel real and her plotting is tight. I like her writing and am going to continue reading her books.I loved Matt and Gina's story and Ms Madden's take on the consequences of a violent upbringing. PS. Halfway through the story the condoms disappeared without the characters noticing. Pure magic.
review 2: This was a wonderful sweet and sexy romance that had me reading way into the night. Gina is a compassionate, funny and amazing person. She overlooks Matt, a former soldier who gives new meaning to "strong and silent", for 4 long years, and finally "collides" with him. I loved his character; cried for him as I read the story, and cheered as well. This is a story of h... moreealing and love, not just romantic love, but family love and self worth. I'll be reading it again and again.The ending screamed for an epilogue-- but it was a lovely ending just the same:) (Hint, Hint) less
