review 1: On a lonely Christmas night, Kendall Herrington had a little too much wine to drink and decided to give into her body’s demands to sleep with her very handsome security guard. She regrets it immediately and puts distance between them the best she can. She has got to stay focused on her career and her chances of running the multi-billion dollar company her father currently runs. Security Guard and Former Marine Grafton Parks has seen and done a lot. He lost his hand during the war and wears a prosthetic. He always assumed Kendall would think him less of a man due to it. When they had their one night she was to drunk to notice. Now Kendall is pregnant even though she is too stubborn to admit it. But she must face the facts soon if she wants to run the family busine... moress. The board won’t allow and unwed pregnant lady to run things. Now they must come to terms with each other while also trying to survive a threat to their lives. I fell in love with J.M. Madden’s LOF series on book 1 and knew I would love all of them! They are so well written that they keep you hooked from the beginning. You fall in love with each character and you feel like you know them at the end! I can’t wait to read more of this series!
review 2: The Lost and Found series is such a profound and emotion series showing us how all the wounded warriors come back not always in one piece but still strong and just as heroic and alpha in their new jobs with the Lost and Found agency. That being said I think this one suffered from being too short to really delve deep into the characters as the other books in the series have. It was more on the side of a quick romance than the in depths look into the characters and how they cope with their disabilities and any emotional issues that have come from that.I highly recommend all the other books in the series. This author writes great military romances that touch you deeply. less
