review 1: Flynn is a former SEAL who is out of the Navy due to an injury...he is also still mourning the loss of his K9 partner Mace. Willow is a veternarian who for the past year Flynn has been bringing injured animals to for care. Through one of the rescued, injured dogs that he takes into Willow they start to finally start a relationship. FLynn ends up being the one 'saved' by both Maya (the dog) and Willow.
review 2: This is one of my favorite series. Seal's lost dream is about Joe Flynn and his battle with PTSD and the vet who helped him, Willow. Very touching especially if you have a soft spot for animals as I do. This was a short story, but J.M. Madden handled it wonderfully. I just love these "disabled" heroes and their stories. Flynn is one of my favorites. J.M
... more. Madden's writing just pulls you into the story and her characters are realistically flawed. Just love em. less

Short but loved it just as much as the other two. I enjoy the strong females and their loving men.
