review 1: Great fun book - definitely fun and cheering - my life could never be as confusing and busy as kiki's! I got confused at the start of this book only because it turns out I read it out of sequence!! Once I got that sorted out, I was away - I didn't care to wait for the library to get the previous book in - I had to read on!! Kiki is such a great character although there are times I find myself jumping up and down and telling her how to handle her relatives differently! A fun adventure with people from all different backgrounds all linked through Kiki. spoiler - big cliff hanger ending!! Onto the next - thank you once more Ms Slan for a great book!
review 2: OK, this book is frustrating. It seemed to focus more on the mystery than the personal relationships and
... more character development. It bugs me that 5 months have passed since the last book. Things have changed dramatically and I feel like I don't know why. All of a sudden she is with someone and we don't really know why or how and it's weird. We got to hear about Ben in detail and now he's just gone but we don't know much about the "new" relationship. Then her mother shows up and she just takes her along everywhere to cause havoc? It's bizarre. At least she seems to have made some peace with Sheila. less

I really liked it other than the ending. I don't like that not all the loose ends were tied up.

This is a great light cozy mystery if you like scrapbooking.

It felt a little unfinished. Can't wait for the next one.
