review 1: When Tyler stumbles upon his father being murdered, he takes action and turns into a killer himself. Despite his desperate situation, he can't help but have guilt over the circumstances. After the funeral, Tyler, his 2 siblings, and mother leave town to live with an uncle in a home called Lovecraft and find their new lives to be an adjustment. Bode, the young brother, figures out how to turn himself into a ghost while Kinsey, Tyler's sister is still haunted by the part she played in keeping herself and Bode quiet during the murders. Also, Lovecraft has secrets of it's own. A great first book in the series! (Jessica)
review 2: This was a birthday gift from an amazing friend who knows me so well - because I've been getting into comics lately she gave me this and ... moreit did not disappoint. We have a mysterious magicness about this house and keys, a creepy ghostly figure that turns out to be much more than that, and we get a strong emotional connection to these characters right from the get go. I have a feeling I've found my favourite comic series. less
