review 1: Positive, uplifting and faith promoting to be sure, but very repetitive and rehashed. Each chapter is about the same with stories almost everyone has heard before - some of the stories are taken from commercials that have been on the air for years. Also, for a Christian minister, there is almost no mention of Jesus in this book. There are a few stories from the old testament, but almost nothing about Christ. The book is positive and I did mark some quotes that I liked, but otherwise, it is very mediocre.

In this book, Joel outlines details on how to build your faith, ask God for favor, and look for his grace and blessings in your everyday life. I found myse... morelf opening the book and reading something each time that seemed written specifically for me. If you want a book that will help you examine your life in a different way, and will help give you faith and encouragement for the future, this is a great read! less
